Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I have been trying to divorce my husband since 2006. Some things have been litigated, some have not but at one point, it was decided that I (with our son) could live in the home we jointly own until my son turned 18. I am now unempolyed, for a second time since 2007 and cannot afford an attorney. I was served with papers this morning. My question is, can the court insist that my son and I move out of the house (which I cannot do because I cannot pay the moving expenses)? Can my son father insist that I pay HIS attorney for this litigation? I am afraid that I will be homeless.

You need an attorney and ask that your husband be ordered to pay the attorney. Good luck!
