Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My husband and i are wanting to get a divorce. We were seperaed for five months and I moved back into our home to try and work things out and now we both have come to see that we can not stay married to each other. I would like to make sure that my daughter and I are taken care of and that I get what is mine how can I do this?

Why not prepare a separation agreement?

The agreement can address all of your concerns.
