I have been married for 4 years my

marriage is not working out how do i

start the process of divorce and if i

live in ny and married in nj where do

i file for divorce i dont even know

where to begin

If you have lived in New York for more tha one year the divorce can be filed in New York The process starts with a summons and complaint as in any litigation call me for a free consultation

The process of divorce in New York is different from New Jersey in several aspects, the most important of which is that you have to have grounds for a divorce - and "not working out" doesn't suffice. You should consult an attorney in your area who handles matrimonial cases and discuss your individual situation.
