Divorce in ny
married in 1987,feb.,14 in b'klyn. I found my husband's divorce papers from his ex. File date was march of 1987 , actual div.March of 88. We share 1 i9 yr. Dau. Are we legally married or was our marriage void due to the fact that he was still married? Please help.

If he was married at the time he married you, he was not legally eligible to enter into a marriage with you and therefore your marriage is not legal.
