Legal Question in Family Law in New York
On my divorce papers says that I would use my maiden name again however I am using my ex husband last name is that ok? Also I am planning to get married again do I have to change my name in my passport to my maiden name before I get married or can I get married using my ex husband last name even though on the divorce papers says that I would go back using my single name? Thank you

I suspect that your divorce papers give you permission to resume the use of your maiden name. Unless they're unusual nothing in the papers requires you to do so.
