Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I would like to know if my divorce papers could be modified to reflect a joint residential custody? My ex husband and I have joint custody of our child, however our daughter lives with both of us by alternating days during the week. Therefore I would like to know if modifying the divorce papers to reflect that she lives with both of us is possible.

Any conditions involving custody can be modified if agreed to by both parties and their attorneys.
