Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Are their any pro-bono lawyer in brooklyn I can talk to . I have being married for 18yrs. being with my husband 21yrs. I have 2 boys, 14 and 8. I have a couple of domestic violence files. at time i am afraid of my life cause he told me he has used steroids. i couldn't prove that until he actually told me 2 weeks ago. Now I know why he gets his mood swings.

You might look for the Battered Womens' Advocacy Project - I don't know if they have an office in Brooklyn.
