Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Divorce question

I want to start my divorce process, I'm facing a domestic violece case right now. I have no arrest or criminal record, as my wife didnt press any charges on me, but as a fight between her and me, she got injured. My concern is that if start the divorce case she will press criminal charges on me. I need to know how can I avoid those charges if I start the divorce case.

Re: Divorce question

It might be best to retain an experienced criminal defense attorney who also has good negotiation skills. I would then try to negotiate a resolution of both issues without the intervention of police or prosecution authorities.I would not start any action without this negotiation first. You may contact my office to set up a consultation @7188340087.
