Divorce

I served my husband divorce papers,uncontested, now he is refusing to sign. What do I do?

It's not clear what it is that he is refusing to sign, however, once a case is initiated there are many ways to move it forward, with or without the assistance of the defendant.

After you serve your husband with the Court papers, he has to answer (meaning to file his answer). He can either agree with your allegations and then you continue to finalize your uncontested divorce, or he can contest your allegations, and then you proceed to litigate this matter as it becomes a contested divorce.
