Legal Question in Family Law in New York

divorce settlement

I have a settlement that states everything in our marital residence is mine except a list of items my ex wanted. Now he wants $20k for things I didn't ''offer'' to him before I moved out. We are also trying to close on the sale of the house, so he wants to put the money in escrow. What can I do?
