Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am a divorced single mother with two children. I have full custody. My ex-husband hasn't paid child support in years, because of that I have lost everything including my place to live. So, I had to allow my children to live with him. Can I sue him for financial and mental anguish? Or what?

You shouldn't have waited until you lost your children to seek advice. I hope you asked for support during the divorce proceedings. If he failed to comply with the court's order, you can sue for back child support.
