Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am divorced after 23 years but my attorney, a former judge botched my divorce. She angered the judge and was suffering from alzhimers. I am disabled and was evicted from my house,.this should never have happened. I am disabled and have one child. I asked my lawyer if she was suffering with dementia and had she had made the judge angry, two things she denied. What is the statute of limitations in NY State?

Basically, she shoud never have represented me because she wasn't mentally capable of doing a good job. Is there something I can do? Is this malpractice and what should I do?
