Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Divorce/Property

I have been divorced for 3 years and am living with a woman and we want to get married, but she is apprehensive because of my ex-wife who is always looking to get more from me. My fiancee bought the house we live in. My name appears nowhere on any paperwork for the house. I live here and help pay the mortgage and bills, but again nowhere does my name appear on the mortgage paperwork or loan. If we got married and something happened to me, would my ex-wife have any claim to my new wife's home? Is there anything we can do, ie something in writing between my new wife and myself that I have no legal right to the house, nor does anybody else? Also, my divorce agreement states my ex-wife and I must provide the other with copies of our taxes filed yearly. It has been 3 years and neither one has done so, but my fiancee is afraid if we get married, my ex-wife will want to see our income tax returns to see how much she makes. Is MY W-2 proof enough of income? My divorce attorney says that is enough, but he has steered my wrong before and I don't want to get into any trouble. I feel my new wifes finances are none of my ex-wifes business and has no bearing on the child support I pay. Thank you for your help.
