Legal Question in Family Law in New York

is it possible to get dna test

my son has twice within 2 years stated in front of his

mother that he had to live all his life without his

father. I raised this boy all his life and now at the

age 18 and again at 20 he tells me this in front of

his mother who did nothing to correct him. Should I

request a dna test? And if it proves that he is not my

son can I suit her to get my name back?

Re: is it possible to get dna test

Getting a DNA test is something you would discuss with your doctor. Getting one is possible.

I don't understand what you mean by saying you want to get your name back.

I don't know what a DNA test would accomplish at this point. He is 20 years old, and you no longer have a duty to support him.
