Early Gift Of Inheritance

In July of 2002, My father purchased a piece of unimproved property. The property title was put in my name and my fathers. In January 2003, I filed for divorce. In August of 2003, my father began construction of a home on said property. Is my soon to be ex. entiled to this property.

If your father gifted it to you and you did not use marital funds to improve it, your wife should not have a claim to it.
