Legal Question in Family Law in New York

emancipation

My son is twenty years old and I am paying child support. He has a vehicle, file a business certificate and has own apartment plus works on and off (paid under the table) Biggest problem he occasionally returns to his mother's residency when he is between living quarters. I belive, he has met all emancipation requirements. Is there a minimum idividuals such as my son must be earning to have him emancipated? It seems as though it is very easy for him to denied everything, I mentioned in court.
