my son will be 18years old in June. he is considered a special ed student and is graduating high school in June . In lieu of going to college in september he will be joing vesid ,an organization helping students move on. Strictly guidance. Can I file a petition for full emancupation

Re: emancupation
If your child is in a program that allows him to become self supporting, requiring no financial assistance from you or his other parent then he may be considered emancipated. However, there are factors the court will consider to make that determination.
