Legal Question in Family Law in New York

What am i entitled to when there is no children, no assets, and no property involved? Marriage is 3 years in and parties do not resided with one another. Will i be entitled to a settlement? Please help me

New York's equitable distribution law means what it says - it requires an "equitable" distribution of marital property. Determining what is equitable in your case requires a detailed review of the economic transactions during the course of your marriage.
