Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Am I entitled to any part of my husbands business if he divorces me?

I wanted to know if i am entitled to any part of my husbands business if he divorces me? We are married 30 years. He committed adultry then left me. I am handicapped and can`t work. How can they check out the financial status of his business as I am sure by now after 4 years of seperation funds have been juggled and funds hidden? Thanks in advance for your help.

You are entitled to your equitable share of the business, as well as any other marital assets. You may be entitled to spousal maintenance, as well. The value of the business will be determined as part of the divorce action.

I suggest you consult with an attorney.
