Entitlement to federal pension of a spouse

My husband is retired from the federal government. We are getting divorced. IAm I entitled to his pension?? He worked for the Veterans Administration at the Bronx VA medical Center.

Under many circumstances the answer is yes. The questions that have to be answered before giving you a definitive answer are: for how long were you married, and during what period of time did he work for the VA.
