Legal Question in Family Law in New York

''Explaining Medical Neglect''

If the mother has sole custody and is rsponsible for the child in question and she has adimately stated the child needs to have allergy shots and the opposite parent without the responsibility took the hild to all appointments over the summer on time from June to September and then the mother who has sole custody misses 1 month of shots and has been requested to back to allergist before the child can recieve any more shots, does this classify as medical neglect due to her ill responsibility that she had to have? Is this a basis to change custody order from sole to joint again? She wanted my husband to have no responsibility regarding medical, just access to it nut then she gave him and myself responsibility all summer long and really dismissed her responsibility, what do we do?/////////////////

Re: ''Explaining Medical Neglect''

In my experience, it is not helpful to discuss isolated aspects of a custody dispute. Rather, all issues should be explored in-depth with an experienced matrimonial attorney.

Hope this helps.
