Legal Question in Family Law in New York

is family court at county level all there is or can i appeal

If a decision is made on a family court case at the county level is that all there is. Can I appeal this decision to a higher court.

It depends on the decision - generally, default orders are not technically appealable (but you can move to vacate), nor are decisions by hearing examiners (to which you can file objections for a judge to hear). Be advised that there are very strict time limits within which you must file an appeal, objection, motion or other application for review of any kind of decision or order.
