Legal Question in Family Law in New York
family court/ criminal court
In NYC...if a foster child is missing, a family court warrent is issued. What happens in the interim the child is arrested in criminal court...does the family court warrent show up? if the child is sentenced to 15 days, can they be released from criminal court even with a family court warrent?

Re: family court/ criminal court
The criminal court should pick up the warrant. If they do not someone ( her attorney) needs to have them alert family court that she is in custody so that that warrant may be vacated.
