family house

my father passed away 4 years ago didnt have a will but left a house. My stepmother told us that if she moves or gets remarried she would give our portion buy financing . she is getting married this week. I would like to know if there is a letter we can send her ...to tell her we would let what is ours. He had the house way before he met her please advise thanks Kim

Unless your Dad added her name to the deed, then she cannot extinguish your interest in the house.

You are protected by the law of intestacy, but you have to assert your rights.
