for non payment of support due to names being wrong on the order, I owe arreages, paid most of it minus $300 which will be paid before my next court date however that judge wants to incarcerate me for 6mos, am set for trial. I live in CA the oder is in NY, what happens now if they order me to do the 6mos, extradition etc. Would they really sentence me to 6mos if its paid? This is my first violation. Please help

If you are paid by the next appearance, the judge may not incarcerate you. Although incarceration is only after there was a finding of "wilfulness", meaning that you wilfully failed to pay your support, being current usually avoids incarceration.
