Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Family Law pertaining to a harrasment charge

How do I fight a complaint made by my spouse against me, saying that I was harassing her? All I did was call her house four times in one night because she would not let me speak to my son. Before this she did have a court order of protection against me but it has expired so it should not have any relevance to this, right?? According to her a even made threats to her well-being but I didn't and I can prove it because I was around other people when I called. Basically it looks like He said/ she said to me!!

Re: Family Law pertaining to a harrasment charge

The Order may have expired, but she has demonstrated an ability to get another one.

Try to get the custody and visitation problems resolved right away.

What does your attorney about this problem?
