Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am the father of two children and upon the recent sale of our marital home , my wife and children moved further out east in Suffolk County into a rental effective December 11, 2010. My wife states that she has no landline in a home rental. Is this legal?

It depends on the terms set in the divorce. If your divorce settlement is silent on the question of relocation and other terms then the answer is yes. You should call the attorney who assisted you in the divorce.
