Father Interference in Raising of Child

My 13 yr old daughter father catch her with a condom. He yelled at her never mention it to me, she told me. I yelled at her and band her from phone and internet. she was catch IM on the internet, and I found a letter that her and her friends wrote about a boy not good it was supsicious . I hit her 3 times on her arm...Yes I lost it and explain the seriousness of this situation. I went on about how I can't trust you, I'm taking her to the doctor, how she feels that she doesn't have to listen to me and so on. She put her coat on and said daddy is downstairs waiting for her. I told her these are things that make me not trust you. You sneaked and called your father.

I can hear him on the phone telling her come downstairs now. I let her go. This isn't the first when I have gone off on her no I don't alway hit her I do more talkin then hitting. She knows that him and I dont communicate and she takes advance of the situations. Is their anything I can do or who can I call He never help the situation he makes it worse. We are separated but legally still married. Help

You should see a lawyer immediately. You may face a counter-charge of abuse if you seek sole custody. You must see a lawyer who is involved with both family court and criminal court. There has to be at least an attempt to work together. A good lawyer may be able to help you, find a way to do that.
