Do i needs father permission to change sons name
Hi. MY sons father is a dead beat dad, do I need his permission or consent to change my sons last name? Thank you

You do not need his permission BUT you must give him an opportunity to be heard by the court. Once you file your petition w/ court he will have to be served. He can object to name change but up to court.
