My fiance child support

My fiance owes $23,000 in back child support and if we get married will support services go after my yearly earnings and/or my federal and state taxes?

The child support collection unit will go after his wages, bank account, state/federal tax returns.

If your name is on any of these it will cause you trouble. If you should marry him. keep everything separate and file separate tax returns.

You have no obligations to his children of a prior relationship. Just don't get your finances intertwined with him. And that includes real estate.
