Fiance

i have a general question, i have been dating my fiance, for 4 yrs, 1 month ago, we tried to buy home together, the home is in her name only. i lent her the $10,000 for down payment, things are not working out and i want to move out.

how can i get her to pay me back the downpayment cash, witch

i have complete paperwork showing downpayment and house papers, this was agreeded before we even bought the home together.

Try to negotiate with her using a third party, not considered threatening.

If negotiation fails, file a simple complaint in Civil Court for payment of the loan.

However, you will require proof that the money provided was not a gift; and that you fully contributed to one half of the monthly payments for household costs and expenses while you were living in the house after purchase.
