how to fight against visition rights

hello i would like to know can i fight against letting my sons father have visition with him.i know that he is unstable and has a drinking problem and uses drugs how can i have these thing help in my favor can you please help me

You must bring these things up to the court. I deal with cases like this in family court every day. If you tell the judge he uses alcohol/drugs, the judge will have it investigated. I would also suggest getting an attorney. If you can't afford one, ask the judge about the assigned counsel program. There is way too much at stake.

You can petition in the Family Court for a Temporary Order of Protection ON BEHALF OF the child against the father, and to have only supervised visitation until he gives up drugs, etc.
