Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Filing for Sole Custody
How likely would it be for a judge to award me sole custody? My sons father is a felon, and is currently out on probation. He's not working right now. I'm working and just graduated from college. To the courts take into account a person's character and background in cases like this?

Re: Filing for Sole Custody
The judge will more than likely grant you sole custody.
Did the child ever visit the other parent while he was in prison?
Has the other parent asked to visit with the child?
