Legal Question in Family Law in New York

financial affidavit

Can a person claim financial responsibility such as loan payments, repair payments and insurance payments for a car that is not in their name? Neither the loan, registration, or insurance is in this persons name. So can they claim this as a financial responsibility on their financial affidavit regarding child support? Your help and consideration is greatly appreciated.
