Legal Question in Family Law in New York

where to find filed papers

There are some questions that I have trouble finding answers to. Where do you go to find a filed copy of a request for intervention? Do you go to the county clerks office or do you go to trial support office? Do a proposed judgment and notice of settlement have to be filed in either of the two offices? Do there have to be an affidavit of service filed to show proof of service? If there is no note of issue and certificate of readiness filed because the two attorneys agreed between them to proceed without the note of issue and certificate of readiness filed and the judge goes along with it, is the proceeding legal?
