Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Fraud

I had a case in family court. At trial, court said that I didn't have a case for a downward mod and he can't let me present any evidence about father's fraud prior to his order. I filed a motion, on the motion date, after that trial and ruling, the court suggested that, I file a downward mod. My ? is, that is the same evidence that I was going 2 use in the 1st downward mod. This feels like a catch 22 and a run around. what should I do?
