Legal Question in Family Law in New York
A friend of mine was told she needed to contact an ATB attorney. What is an "ATB" lawyer? Can you explain what an ATB Lawyer is?

Not ATB, but 18-B, meaning assigned by the Court under Rule 18B.

This type of lawyer (18B) is for lower-income clients who cannot afford a regular lawyer.
