Frozen Accounts

My husband is trying to force me to file for divorce. As things have become progressively worse, he refuses to put anymore money into a joint account until I file. I have 2 small children and no other source of income except for perhaps my parents' money. Has anyone encouraged this situation and know what to do?

Of course - it's not uncommon for the economically advantaged spouse to try to use leverage to force a bad deal on the spouse who has less money. There are, however, very effect means to counter those tactics.
