Legal Question in Family Law in New York

i am a full custodial mother who has been offered a job in another state and is moving with my child in 2 weeks. my visitation with his father is as both parties see fit. i did not think i had any reason to think that i could not move until today i need to know what can happen if i leave state

The court can force you to return or to make arrangements to facilitate visitation. This can include you being responsible for transporting the child to and from your home on a weekly basis. An extremely drastic result could be the court granting custody to the father for willfully interfering with his visitation.
