Girlfriend going threw custody battle, rights to backround check me?
my girlfriend that i met on the internet, been togher longdistance for a year, i moved here last month.
she is going threw a custody battle with her ex boyfriend of 5 years. the courts asked for me to go in and fill out papers to do a backround check on me since im liveing here.
is this alowed, i dont see how they can do this since we are both over 21 ect... i dont have anything to hide i just dont feel its right that im being dragged in to the BS that has nothing to do with me.

If she has children and the ex is the father, and the children are living with you, it involves you.
