Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Grandparents and child visitation
What does the law say about grandparents and their right to visitation of a grandchild? Also what is the standard amount of time that the law allows regarding that type of visitation?

Re: Grandparents and child visitation
The US Supreme Court seems to think that
statutes authorizing grandparent visitation
are unconstitutional
So does a NY Court in Brooklyn
However, the NY statute still permits it
There is no standard, but is strictly
determined by the circumstances
