Legal Question in Family Law in New York

From Grey to Black and white

My ex and I have joint custody but I have primary residence for our 7 year old. The divorce papers were written very grey in order to keep peace, but I need things in Black and white now. How fo I change things such as concrete visitation, holidays and babysitting arrangements now. Can the court mandate time that he has to be with our Son? Please help need the father to be involved!

Re: From Grey to Black and white

The court can not force a parent to visit with their child. Sad but true.

If you need to fix a visitation schedule you can always file in family court for "modification" of your judgment.
