Re: Grievance against law guardian
Yes you can.
However, you first need to present your complaints, orally or written, to the Court and Judge who appointed the Law Guardian and ask for the Guardian to be substituted or replaced. Your complaint should be for "good cause," and clearly show how the needs and best interests of the Law Guardian's charge, are or will be harmed, if a substitution or replacement is not made.
Good luck,

If you have a grievance, of course you may file it. However, it is likely that this is not the best course of action. You should speak to your attorney about this and be guided by their advice.

Re: Grievance against law guardian
Your question is a little ambiguous, I beleive you are asking about a compalint against a lawyer who has been appointed as a guardian. If that is the case, yo can file a girevance if it is related to the attorney's practice of law. The grievance will not be considered unless the Court finds that there has been unethical conduct or a failure of the attorney to carry out his legal responsibility. Just because you do not like the guardian's deicsion is not enough to file a successful grievance.

Re: Grievance against law guardian
There are several ways to address your problems with a law guardian, some of which may not be to your advantage. You should discuss your case with a qualified attorney as soon as possible to avoid alientating the law guardian or the court itself. I am quite familiar with the Richmond County Family Court and I do not charge a fee for the initial consultation. If interested, call my office at (212) 255-4077 to schedule an appointment.
