Grounds for divorce

What constitutes crual and inhuman treatment? Is there a certian criteria for this ground?

Cruel and Inhuman can take many forms. Examples are: abusive language, name calling, one spouse controlling all the finances, cheating on spouse, physical abuse, threats, publicly embarrassing the spouse by degrading/screaming/cursing, etc.

Not showing up for family functions, silent treatment, etc. Each case may be unique to the situation and the personalities involved. You should know the longer the marriage (ex. over 7-9 yrs) the more difficult to prove cruel and inhuman, unless this is a new behaviour. Hope this helped.
