Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Harassment 2nd degree
My son was issued a order of protection from his girlfriend after an argument,this is not the first time they have had fights,Now he has to go befor the judge ,what usualy happends here, he is in counceling for anger managment and is on medication for help,I know nothing about these things ,he will have a public defender,none of us can aford anything else,do you have any ideas any info that might help. Thanks

If your son has ongoing anger management problems, he may need more intensive therapy. Otherwise, he should prepare for some jail time.
Violation of an Order of Protection is a felony.
