Legal Question in Family Law in New York

harrassment

What constitutes harrasment. MY boyfriend's ex keeps calling him. (she has custody of their 2 teenage sons)

She leaves message after message badgering him, with his sons present. '' Your son is standing right next to me.... and you are not paying for his orthondist and not taking responsiblity for your sons and disowning them... etc etc''

He has paid all his legal responsiblities and has prove of it.. This is one example of a call, there are others

'' The only way I can hurt you is in your pocket, so I am taking you back to court.......''

Do these type of calls justify harrassment and can they be stopped.. thank you for you time, He can not afford his attorney unless absolutely has to use him..

Re: harrassment

Yes, this is criminal harassment.

More importantly, this is 'alienation' and provides grounds for him gaining full custody of the children.

(If he has custody, then she pays support to him.)

If he's not willing to defend his rights, what makes you think there will be any incentive to stop the harrassment you descirbe?
