Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Hello,

I live in New York. I need to know what legal documents are needed for me to have my boyfriend's daughter covered under my medical insurance. I have been assisting her father with taking care of her for the last 13 years. We have lived together for 5 years now and I have been financially responsible for her for the last 3 years.

You can't have her covered under your medical insurance since she is not your daughter. You would have to either obtain separate insurance for the girl, or adopt the child.
