How to get my child support order dropped to an amount I can afford on my salary and obtain my driver's license back.

This depends on a few things. First of all, if they suspended your license, you must owe some arrears. The arrears can almost never be forgiven or abated. They will have to be paid as part of the order. Second, if you are making less money now than when your child support was computed, you will need to bring an action in court for a downward modification based on a change in circumstances. The level of proof needed for this depends however on how the child support was first ordered, that is - through a judgment or a stipulation.
