Homeschooling dispute with joint custody
Do I need my ex's permission to homeschool? We have joint custody, I have primary residence, He only sees his father twice a week. The student is 11 and going into 6th grade.

Re: Homeschooling dispute with joint custody
You should have an attorney review the agreement or order that grants the "joint custody" arrangement. If decision-making on education is truly shared, and your child has been attending regular school, then you will probably violate the order/agreement by taking the child out against the father's wishes. Consult with an attorney who can review all of the details of your situation and give you proper advice before taking any such action.
