Legal Question in Family Law in New York
My husband has cheated and i want to filed for divorce, we have two kids and he is the only one working. I have been a stay at home mom for 2 yrs if i filed now is he obligated to support my lifestyle until i get a job? what happens if he moves out, do i lose alimony if i dont filed for divorce immediately?

First, with the new law, you do not have to prove fault so although you could file under adultery, it is almost irrelevant and does not get you more under equitable distribution anyway. Depending on the length of the marriage will determine the monetary settlement and spousal maintenance. You should immediately set up a consultation with an experienced divorce attorney.
